IIT Delhi announces 7-month-long AI leadership programme

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has opened applications for the third batch of its Advanced Programme in Technology & AI Leadership, a seven-month online course aimed at equipping professionals with skills in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and technology-led business strategy.Offered through the institute’s Continuing Education Programme (CEP), the course will commence on July 4, 2026, with the last date to apply set for June 17, 2026. The programme will run until February 6, 2027.

    Weekend format, industry-focused learning

The programme will be delivered in a fully online format, with live classes scheduled on Saturdays from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM IST, making it accessible for working professionals. IIT Delhi said the curriculum is designed to combine academic rigour with real-world application, with a strong emphasis on leadership in AI-driven environments.Participants will also attend a two-day campus immersion at IIT Delhi, offering in-person interaction with faculty and peers.

Curriculum blends AI, leadership, and business strategy

The course structure spans seven modules covering core and emerging areas of technology leadership. These include:

    • Digital transformation and strategic alignment
    • Organisational leadership in AI-led environments
    • IT project and programme management
    • Cyber resilience and information assurance
    • Emerging technologies and business models

A capstone project, guided by IIT Delhi faculty, will form a key component of the programme, allowing participants to apply concepts to real-world business problems.

Focus on practical skills and tools

The programme emphasises hands-on learning, particularly through no-code AI and ML tools, aimed at helping non-technical leaders build tech fluency. Participants will also gain exposure to tools such as ChatGPT and Orange for applied learning. In addition, the course includes over 10 sessions by industry leaders, offering practitioner insights and case-based learning.

    Eligibility and fee
