The event has become a significant part of Cricket Australia’s home calender, and its partnership with the McGrath Foundation, supporting people affected by breast cancer. The India vs Australia women’s ODI series, which is serving as preparation for the Women’s World Cup that starts from September 30 in Guwahati, is currently locked at 1-1, with the match at Delhi set to be a mouth-watering decider . In the first two WODIs, played at the PCA Mullanpur Stadium in New Chandigarh, Australia won the opener before India levelled matters. Smiti Mandhana’s 77-ball century, the fastest-ever for India against Australia, helped India stage a fightback to win by 102 runs. This was the heaviest defeat ever for Australia in a WODI.
