Kristen Wiig is putting her tattoo on display.
The Palm Royale actress brandished a rarely seen ribcage tattoo that she’s had for years at the 2026 Actor Awards, where she donned a black silk column gown with two deep cutouts on the sides. She paired the sleek Christian Cowan dress with a gold bangle, rings and black sandals and opted to wear her honey brown hair down past her shoulders. (See every red carpet look here.)
While it’s unclear what exactly Kristen’s tattoo says, it appears to contain seven lines of script. She flaunted the ink both while posing on the red carpet and inside the award show itself, where she smiled for photographers alongside her Bridesmaids costar Rose Byrne.
The 52-year-old had previously shared the story behind another one of her rarely seen tattoos, which is on her lower back.
“I got a tattoo with a friend of mine when I was very young,” she shared on The Late Late Show with James Corden in 2017, “and I was like, ‘I’m a leo,’ so got a leo on my back. Like, the symbol. I’m having it removed. Well, it’s grown. I was like, ‘I don’t really believe in astrology, why do I have this?'”
