She also alleged that her mother would sometimes wake her from sleep and hit her “for no apparent reason,” including one incident in which she was struck in the face with a charging cable, the outlets reported.
According to the arrest report, per the outlets, the girl told deputies she was often not allowed to eat food inside the home because it was reserved for “guests.” Instead, she allegedly ate expired food or food taken from the trash. A neighbor told investigators she had known the girl for about two months and had repeatedly allowed her to stay in her home, feeding her and providing her with clothing because she was often left alone, according to the arrest report.
The neighbor also told deputies she provided the child with food and clean clothes on June 5 after finding her walking around without adult supervision, the report alleges.

According to the Miami Herald, Timouche allegedly told deputies after being advised of her rights that she had struck her daughter with a charging cable and that she did not return home until about 5 a.m. that day. The newspaper reported that deputies observed a scar on the girl’s face that was consistent with the claim.
Online jail records reviewed by PEOPLE show Timouche was being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center as of June 9.
