Batting first, Punjab Kings were reduced to 83/5 before a century from Priyansh Arya and an unbeaten fifty from Shashank Singh guided them to 219/6. In reply, CSK scored 201/5.

With form on their side, Punjab Kings will be fancying their chances of beating SRH in the upcoming game. And ahead of the game, we are taking a look at the PBKS Playing 11.

Punjab Kings Playing 11 vs SRH -, IPL 2025, Match 27:

Openers: Priyansh Arya, Prabhsimran Singh (wk)

Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh are set to be the openers in the PBKS Playing 11 for the upcoming game. Priyansh showed the world why he is regarded so highly by scoring a sensational century against CSK in the previous game.

After PBKS were reduced to 83/5, it was his knock that rescued the team. The youngster smashed 103 runs off just 42 balls with the help of 7 fours and 9 sixes. He will be keen to play another impactful knock in the forthcoming game.

On the other hand, Prabhsimran will look to bounce back after being dismissed for a duck in the last game.

Middle-order: Shreyas Iyer (c), Marcus Stoinis, Nehal Wadhera, Glenn Maxwell, Shashank Singh

Captain Shreyas Iyer was out for just 9 runs in the last game. It was his second failure in a row with the bat, and the PBKS captain will be keen to lead his team from the front.

Most of the other middle-order batters also failed to impress. Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell were out for 4 and 1 runs respectively. With the ball, Maxwell took the important wicket of Rachin Ravindra while Stoinis bowled one over for 10 runs without taking any wickets. Maxwell and Stoinis are set to be the all-rounders in the PBKS Playing 11 for the upcoming match as well.

Nehal Wadhera was also disappointed with the bat. The youngster was out for just 9 runs and will look to bounce back. Shashank Singh played a crucial knock to take PBKS to a 200-plus total. He scored an unbeaten 52 off just 36 balls to help his side finish strongly with the bat.

Bowlers: Marco Jansen, Arshdeep Singh, Lockie Ferguson, Yuzvendra Chahal

The Punjab Kings Playing 11 is likely to have the same set of bowlers who played against CSK, while Yash Thakur could be used as an impact player. Marco Jansen impressed with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 34 off just 19 balls, but failed to impress with the ball.

Lockie Ferguson was the pick of the PBKS bowlers, taking 2 wickets for 40 runs, while Yuzvendra Chahal and Arshdeep Singh could not take any wickets. Thakur also picked up a wicket.
