According to early estimates by industry tracker Sacnilk, ‘Raid 2’ collected around Rs. 9.77 crore across India by 4 PM on its opening day. That’s a decent start for a weekday, boosted by the partial Labour Day holiday.
The morning shows saw about 21.23% occupancy, and afternoon shows had 35.76% occupancy in theatres, and some of the best numbers came from cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, and Pune. The film is doing especially well in mass belts, where action-packed and hard-hitting dramas attract large crowds.
A face-off that’s winning fans
Fans on social media are already calling ‘Raid 2’ a “complete commercial entertainer” and praising the intense clash between Ajay Devgn and Riteish Deshmukh. Devgn returns as Amay Patnaik, the honest officer we first met in the 2018 film. Close behind, ‘HIT 3’ has reportedly collected Rs. 10.37 crore. With all three films fighting for attention, the weekend box office will decide which one takes the top spot.
