Rhino.fi launches native Bitcoin deposits for businesses

TORTOLA, British Virgin Islands, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Rhino.fi has launched native Bitcoin deposits for businesses. They help customers send BTC and companies receive the asset their products use without holding Bitcoin themselves. Native BTC now runs through the same deposit infrastructure as Rhino.fi’s other supported assets, with settlement available in stablecoins across more than 30 chains or in a working Bitcoin position. ether.fi and KettlePay are among the first clients using the new capability.

More than 180,000 addresses hold wrapped Bitcoin on Ethereum alone, while BTC deployed in BTCFi protocols is estimated to be 0.46% of circulating supply. Ethereum, by comparison, has roughly 15% of its supply used in DeFi. The gap reflects the operational friction involved in moving native BTC across networks, including wrapping, bridging, custody decisions, and multi-step user journeys.

Rhino.fi moves those processes behind a single client integration. Each inbound Bitcoin deposit passes through the same KYT and AML screening used across Rhino.fi’s other routes, and settlement occurs after one Bitcoin block confirmation. Funds can settle into stablecoins on any supported chain or into a wrapped Bitcoin position in a single transaction.

The expansion addresses a persistent mismatch in crypto payments, where Bitcoin holders may want to spend or deploy the asset they already own, yet businesses often need settlement in stablecoins or another asset that fits their product. Rhino.fi moves the conversion and routing into the infrastructure layer, so the customer can send BTC directly and the business receives a usable balance through its existing integration.

“Bitcoin has been used as a payment instrument for almost two decades, yet it remains hard for merchants to accept at scale. Rhino.fi specialises in solving the hardest payments routes, and our latest release lets any company generate a Bitcoin deposit address and have it settled into any stablecoin, on any chain,” said Will Harborne, CEO and co-founder of Rhino.fi.

“The flow is deterministic and reliable: the amount you quote is the amount that settles, and our clients can set whatever fees they want. This means businesses can offer BTC at checkout without running a BTC treasury or liquidity themselves,” Harborne added: “We continue to focus on the most difficult payment challenges for our clients and making them effortless to integrate.”

Bitcoin payments already appear in high-value purchases involving watches, cars, yachts and other luxury goods. Buyers may want to pay directly from a Bitcoin wallet, while dealers typically require dollar-denominated settlement without taking on BTC price exposure. Requiring a separate conversion before checkout adds another step to the transaction.

KettlePay, a payments platform for luxury goods dealers, has integrated Rhino.fi so its merchants can accept native Bitcoin and receive stablecoins.

“Our customers have been begging for a way to accept BTC as payment for months now. With Rhino.fi behind KettlePay, we can now offer native BTC payments which settle in stablecoins. Now our customers never have to turn away BTC deals ever again,” said Sean Parsons, CEO and co-founder of KettlePay.

For ether.fi users, the same infrastructure provides a direct route from native Bitcoin into liquidBTC. Customers can send BTC through ether.fi’s existing deposit experience and receive liquidBTC as a borrowable asset, with Rhino.fi handling the conversion through the deposit infrastructure already used for stablecoins.

“We wanted native Bitcoin deposits to feel like every other deposit on ether.fi: send it and it’s instantly available as a borrowable asset. Rhino.fi built the flow that takes native Bitcoin straight into liquidBTC, on the same deposit infrastructure we already use for stablecoins. Our customers get a simpler way in, and our team gets one integration to run instead of another stack to maintain,” said Jozef Vogel, COO of ether.fi.

Native Bitcoin support forms part of Rhino.fi’s Stablecoin Activation Stack, which gives businesses infrastructure to accept deposits across different chains and assets and convert them into balances their products can use immediately. Rhino.fi currently supports more than 30 chains (and can add more networks and coins on request) and hundreds of tokens through one integration, with routing, conversion and settlement handled at the infrastructure layer.

    About Rhino.fi

Rhino.fi is the infrastructure layer behind the Rhino Stablecoin Activation Stack, giving neobanks, fintechs and on-chain businesses a single toolkit to accept, convert and settle USD-pegged stablecoins predictably across more than 25 blockchain networks.

Rhino.fi’s mission is to make stablecoins behave like real dollars for the businesses building the next generation of financial products. By removing the spread uncertainty, routing complexity and settlement unpredictability that come with operating across fragmented stablecoin markets, Rhino.fi turns digital dollars into a practical foundation for global finance.
