‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has continued its historic run at the Indian box office. After registering the biggest opening day ever for a Hollywood film in India, the Tom Holland and Zendaya-starrer has maintained an exceptional hold on Friday, crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in just two days of its release.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ Day 2 collections
According to early estimates on Sacnilk, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ collected an estimated Rs 49.35 crore net on Day 2 across 16,902 shows, taking its Day 2 gross collections to approximately Rs 59.03 crore.Although it witnessed an 18.6% drop from its record-breaking opening day collection of Rs 60.60 crore net (around Rs 72.44 crore gross), the film still managed to register an impressive start to its extended weekend at the box office.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ English and Hindi versions score big
The English version continued to dominate the box office, collecting an estimated Rs 28 crore net on Friday while recording a healthy 47% occupancy. Meanwhile, the Hindi-dubbed version once again emerged as the strongest performer in terms of occupancy, earning approximately Rs 17 crore net while registering an impressive 90% occupancy across shows. Among the southern dubbed versions, the Tamil release contributed an estimated Rs 2.25 crore, while the Telugu version added around Rs 2 crore. The Malayalam and Kannada versions collected approximately Rs 7 lakh and Rs 3 lakh, respectively.

With Friday’s collections, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ has now amassed an estimated Rs 131.46 crore gross and Rs 109.95 crore net at the Indian box office across 34,152 shows in just two days, thus setting a new benchmark for the biggest opening day ever by a non-Indian film in the country.Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo and Jon Bernthal.
