As per the Sacnilk report, the Tom Holland-starrer earned Rs 10.15 crore on Day 17, playing across 3,263 shows in India. This marked a 160.3% jump compared to the previous day’s numbers.

With the latest earnings added, the film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 457.45 crore, while its India gross collection has touched Rs 546.92 crore. For the uninitiated, the movie earned Rs 334.75 crore in its first week and added another Rs 108.65 crore in the second week. If the trend continues, the film could cross the Rs 550 crore mark by the end of this week.

On its Day 2, which clashed with ‘Spider-Man’s Day 17, ‘Awarapan 2’ collected Rs 33 crore. Emraan Hashmi, reprising his role as Shivam Pandit, drew significant audience interest with the sequel.

If the film manages a strong third weekend, it could push its lifetime collections past the Rs 600 crore mark.
