UGC NET December 2024 result out: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the UGC NET December 2024 examination. Candidates who appeared for the test can now access and download their scorecards by visiting the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET December 2024 session took place between January 3 and January 27, 2025, across various centers in the country.
The exam was conducted over nine days in 16 shifts across 558 examination centers in 266 cities, with a total of 8,49,166 registered candidates. Of these, 6,49,490 candidates appeared for the test. The NTA is also expected to release the UGC NET eligibility certificates soon for candidates who have successfully qualified.
UGC NET December 2024 Session: How many students qualified?
As per the official data released by the NTA, the number of candidates who qualified in different categories are as follows:
- Candidates qualified for JRF and Assistant Professor: 5,158
- Candidates qualified for Assistant Professor and Admission to Ph.D.: 48,161
- Candidates qualified for Ph.D. only: 1,14,445
