Kim Kardashian’s Hidden Hills home in Los Angeles, was reportedly targeted in an alleged burglary over the weekend. A 27-year-old man has since been arrested.
Kim Kardashian’s house burglarised
Kim, who was previously a victim of a burglary attempt in Paris, was reportedly not at home when a man broke into her plush property. According to TMZ reports, authorities were called to the property shortly before 4 pm on Sunday after a man was allegedly seen loading several items into a white Lexus on the property and then driving the car around. A law enforcement source told the Los Angeles Times that the man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Man takes Kim Kardashian’s security car for a ‘joyride’
As per USA TODAY, security guards reportedly witnessed the man loading up the car and called 911. Aaudio obtained by The U.S. Sun confirms the details.According to TMZ, the suspect allegedly took the vehicle belonging to a member of Kardashian’s staff for what an alleged ‘joyride’. However, there are conflicting accounts about whether the suspect actually entered Kardashian’s residence or if he was just on the property.
Kim Kardashian and family not home during incident
Kim, on the other hand, and her family, were not home at the time of the burglary and have been living in a nearby rental while their home undergoes renovations, as per the California Post and TMZ.The property is reportedly undergoing renovations, and Kardashian and her children are not currently living at the home.
Kim Kardashain robbed of USD 10 million jewellery in Paris
This is not the first time that the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star has been a victim of this type of crime. In 2016, a group of thieves entered a Paris apartment where Kardashian was staying disguised as police and reportedly robbed her at gunpoint of an estimated USD 10 million in jewellery.Almost a decade later, the star travelled back to Paris to testify against the thieves in court, where eight of the ten people involved, were found guilty of crimes directly linked to the theft. Another was found guilty of possession of illegal weapons charges, while one was later acquitted.As per reports, 69-year-old ringleader Aomar Ait Khedache was sentenced to three years in jail.
