Anthony Albanese and his fiancee Jodie Haydon have marked one year since their engagement on Valentine’s Day with a sweet question and answer video.
Questions they answered included “Who reached out first?”, “Who said I love you first?” and “Who is the messiest?”, which caused a lot of debate.
“On behalf of Jodie and I, happy Valentine’s Day Australia,” the Prime Minister said.
With a big smile on his face he added, “One year since we got engaged!”
The PM proposed last year on the night of Valentine’s Day and announced the news to the world the day after with an Instagram post.
He became the first Prime Minister of Australia to get engaged while in office, being only the second unmarried Prime Minister.
