KVS admissions 2025: Offline process for Balvatika-2, Classes 2-12 starts April 2

KVS Admissions 2025: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has rolled out its admission schedule for the 2025-26 academic session, with offline registrations for Balvatika-2 and Classes 2 to 12 (except Class 11) set to commence on April 2. The registration window will remain open until April 11, subject to seat availability, offering parents an opportunity to secure spots for their children in one of India’s premier school systems. This follows the completion of online registrations for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class 1 in March, with key updates already underway for those categories.
For Balvatika-2 and Classes 2 onwards, offline registrations will begin at 10:00 AM on April 2 and close at 4:00 PM on April 11. Forms must be submitted directly at respective Kendriya Vidyalayas. The first provisional admission list for these classes will be published on April 17, with the admission process running from April 18 to April 21. The final date for admissions to all classes (except Class 11) is June 30, though deputy commissioners may extend this to July 31 if seats remain vacant, adhering to the class strength limit of 40 students.
The online registration phase for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class 1 concluded in March, with the Class 1 lottery results announced on March 27. The first provisional lists for Balvatika-1 and Balvatika-3 are already out, accessible at balvatika.kvs.gov.in, while the second provisional lists will be released on April 2. If insufficient applications were received under RTE, SC, ST, and OBC (NCL) categories, a second offline registration notification will be issued on April 7, with registrations open from April 8 to April 14. The final admission lists for these categories will be displayed between April 23 and April 28.
